Comparison of Honjozo and Junmai from Nouguchi.
The Honjozo was punchy and cask-strength, so I thought the Junmai would be punchier, but the result was surprising.
I had imagined a strong and eccentric person like Keiji Hana no Keiji, but it tasted like an honor student. I guess this one is Naoe Kanetsugu.
It is not as strong as the alcohol content, but still has a solid core. Supported by the acidity, it has a very well-balanced royal taste.
It is an excellent sake, but when I think about the cost, I think, hmmm.
It costs about 5,000 yen to buy, so if you are willing to pay this much, there are better sake available.
