寅之助Business trip to Fukuoka✈️ search for a liquor store that would be easy to access on the way to the office. I found a sake shop with a good reputation near Sumiyoshi, where I was staying🍶.
After three rounds of the sake corner on the second floor and much agonizing, I purchased this Harvest Moon🌕.
The hiyaoroshi Nabeshima was exactly as I imagined it would be with a strong umami flavor. It is a popular brand, and even at 60% rice polishing ratio, it has no cloying taste, and while powerful, it is somehow refreshing and not tiring to drink. There is some bitterness.
This was the first time I had Harvest Moon outside of a restaurant, so I thoroughly enjoyed it 🌾.
