Purchased at Kamakura Yamadaya. Kurei is my favorite sake. While I've been curious about melon patterns, leopard patterns, and every year, this is my first giraffe pattern 🦒.
The top aroma is sweet rice and fruity like melon. It is not 🍎. When I sipped it, I could feel the sweetness, bitterness and creaminess! But it cuts through and has a pleasant, refreshing aftertaste. It's raw, but the flavor didn't fade even at room temperature. I enjoyed the variety of flavors 😋😋😋😋.
