So after work, I went to the liquor store that I had been thinking about.
It was the first time I'd ever been to a liquor store, though I'd never set foot in one because it was in an area where people went to drink and not to buy.
This is what I bought after asking the clerk for something shrewd and refreshing.
First of all, it's hard to open.
There is a caution tag on the bottle. I had to loosen and tighten the lid about 6 times. It took the longest time to open the bottle so far. It's interesting to see the bubbles rise all at once.
It looks like it's not sake.
From the aroma, you can feel the acidity and the bubbles.
It is very sweet.
It reminds me of Suzune I drank a long time ago.
The carbonation is strong. But it's not too spicy, it's just right. It's like champagne.
But the aftertaste is definitely sake.
I realized after opening it that it is only 500ml. The alcohol content is also low at 9%, so I felt like I was drinking elegant champagne.
I'm not a fan of spicy champagne, but this is easy to drink, and I want to drink it again when I'm feeling down.
