This sake also had no bitterness in the aftertaste.

Today, I chose Yamagata Masamune, which I had been curious about, and drank it for lunch on my day off.
It had a pleasant sourness with a melon-like aroma, followed by spiciness and umami.
It was a delicious cup with sweetness.

Soft mouthfeel.
It has a pear-like flavor with a lustrous floral aroma.
The slightly rich rice and the fruity flavor blend well together.
The lemon-like acidity is felt afterwards, and the pure sweetness and bitterness linger on the palate after the rice flavor is gone.
It is somewhat reminiscent of an adult lady.

My personal number one for 2023; looking forward to 2024.
As in 2023, the characteristics of the rice and the characteristics of the brewery are mixed together. The finish is well-balanced without being too sweet.
The 2024 is also well finished.
