I'm not sure why I forgot to take a picture of the individual bottle, but it was my personal favorite out of the many Manjusen I received.
The tortoise is not a 🐢 tortoise but a 瓷 tortoise which is used to make Shaoxing wine.
It seems that the brewing process is done using turtles imported from China.
The flat shape of the tortoise makes it look unappetizing, but for me, who wants to enjoy it with rice, this tortoise, which has a strong flavor but not too strong an aroma, was a perfect match.
I found out later that it has more koji than other Manjusen.
Maybe that's also why I liked it so much.
I was wondering if I should buy it at the end, but I already had a bottle of Katsucoma and three other bottles in my bag, so I gave up.
