The other day, while I was in Osaka on business, I went to a liquor store that stocked Murasaki Uchu, but they were out of stock and I couldn't buy it 😭I asked the owner for his recommendation and he introduced it to me 🍶I quickly opened a bottle.
The color is slightly yellowish. The aroma is mildly sweet with a hint of pear.
In the mouth, there is a soft sweetness, but it is more of a sourness, followed by a bitterness with umami.
Serve with simmered fish. The light white meat and the sweetness of the broth enhances the flavor of this sake. It is a good match with fish after all.
