Tonight we opened "Momoten" aka "Tenbi".
If I was not careful, as soon as I peeled off the cap seal, it popped off! The lid flew off.
I wanted to taste the clear part of the top clear liquid, but I was too late to put the lid back on, and the rising bubbles rolled up the Ori on the bottom of the bottle, leaving me with no choice but to start from the bottom of the bottle.
My first impression of the aroma was a peach juice nuance, like Fujiya's Nectar. In a Riedel glass, when swirled and allowed to come into contact with the air, the aroma of rice-scented topknots becomes predominant.
The taste is sweet and gentle with a sourness like pineapple juice.
My home prefecture of Yamanashi is the largest producer of 🍑 peaches in Japan. The other day, while admiring peach blossoms given to me at a local produce stand, I savored Momoten (peach heaven) and finished with peach juice made from 100% fruit juice.
Tonight was a night full of peaches.
