Nagareki Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered Nama Gohyakumangoku
I bought it at Ishidaya or at a liquor store that was having a tasting event.
Looking at the fridge, I remembered that I had been here once before.
I had it cold.
The top aroma is mild and slightly apple.
The color is almost clear, with a hint of ochre if you look closely.
It flows smoothly and has a rather hard mouthfeel.
The taste is just as I imagined it would be, with a firm, sharp acidity that is typical of Ihyakumangoku. There is also a slight citrusiness.
I thought it would be a bit fresher since it is a nama-shu, but it is surprisingly refreshing and sharp.
The acidity is refreshing, but the spiciness is a bit more pronounced than I expected.
