I found a bottle of Oku from Aichi that I got hooked on after drinking it for the first time a while ago at a liquor store, so I bought it again 😂.
I was hooked on it the first time a while ago, so I bought it again 💁, ORIGAMI Slightly Active <Nama>.................................from the name, it's a delicious one 🤣.
Now, the long awaited Kaisean ritual: ❗️
The aroma is not that strong...the description on the back label says it smells like Japanese pears👍.
It's more like a fresh fruitiness 🥭...or something like that 😘.
Without further ado, let's drink it... ‼️
The moment it hits your mouth, you'll feel the microcarbonation-like juppiness 🫧 that makes it easy to drink, while the sweetness and grapefruit-like bitterness collaborate ✨.
If you imagine the taste of grapefruit sour, it will be close to it. 🙂↕️
However... I still feel the depth that only sake can have... (I think to myself, "Yum~~~..." lol).
In my opinion... if I were to list the sake breweries that are similar in terms of dryness, I would say that...
(Dry) Machida > Oku > Takachiyo (Sweet)
I have an image of that.
Looking forward to tomorrow's taste change✨
Day 2🗒️
I didn't feel the taste change that much 🤔
Most of the time, the second day is the day when you don't feel the schwashy feeling... but this one didn't feel it at all and was still juicy and delicious on the second day 🫧.
