ma-ki-
After leaving Goshiki, my father wanted to drink some more.
He was full, so we went to the restaurant corner on the first floor of the hotel and had a second round of drinks with light snacks.
I had been curious about the sake server since we arrived at the hotel.
Since we were going to be there, we decided to have sake at the after-party as well.
So, my first drink from the hotel's sake server was a limited edition Mansyuusen Daiginjo from the Masuda Sake Brewery.
This was also a sake from a brewery I had never tried before, but it was one I had wanted to try, so I was looking forward to it.
So, let's get to it.
First, the aroma. It has a sweet aroma.
When you put it in your mouth, you can feel the sweetness, and the mouthfeel is smooth.
The second half is spicy, and the lingering taste is bitter.
