The aroma is only slightly fruity. When you put it in your mouth, sweetness like a ripe melon, acidity, bitterness, and the flavor of the rice spread at once in your mouth thickly. There is a silky taste, but the bitterness is a little strong. The aftertaste is tingling and dry, but it is refreshing to drink. It was a delicious sake with the strength typical of Omachi. After all, Amago no Tsuki is my favorite.
