Sake Kasu Nabe (one-pot dish with sake lees)
Purchased after visiting a sake brewery and tasting sake. I also got sakekasu (sake lees), so I made a sakekasu nabe.
At first it looked sweet, but as the label said, it had a sharp taste. It is not spicy, however, and has a lingering aftertaste of well-honed umami. It is really luxurious to enjoy a pot of Sakekasu Nabe with a glass of Ski Masamune.
