A fire-aged version of the active sake mother sake we drank the other day. It doesn't seem to be cloudy, so maybe it's not too cloudy, so maybe it's not too cloudy. It is not labeled sparkling because it is fire-aged, but the carbonation is very strong, so be very careful when opening the bottle! More violent than the recent Amaeru. The aroma is simply sweet and sour like a lactic acid drink without the pear-like aroma often found in nigori sake. It has the same sake mother, but it's totally different from the Bodai-izumi I had last week. It's almost like a sour&bitter sparkling sake Pichika by Yamana Shuzo! The taste is normal sweet and sour. The sourness is a little more pronounced and refreshing, making it very easy to drink. The active one was a little too sweet and gave the impression of being more of a sugar-sweetened beverage than a sake, but this one has a good balance and is delicious! Highly recommended as a low-alcohol sparkling sake!
