The "Natsukoshi-no-Oharai" (summer purification ceremony) is held on June 30.
It is a Shinto ritual held on June 30 to pray for the safe passage of the last half year.
Natsukoshi-zake is named after the "Natsukoshi-no-Oharai" (the purification ceremony of summer).
I rarely buy nigori sake because I get a headache when I drink it, but I was told by the owner of a liquor store that "even though it contains ori, you can drink it easily" and was also attracted by the freshness of the label, so I bought it. I bought it because I was attracted by the freshness of the label.
It is indeed refreshing and light for a nigori sake. There are too many things happening in the world these days.... I really enjoyed it while wishing for good health in the latter half of the year. I hope I will be in good health in the second half of the year ☺️.
