Junmai Sake
~This is a special junmai-shu with the sweet aroma of koji tickling your nose. The koji is inventive and blended with Namimoto to create a robust taste that will stand up to food and a mellowness that will keep you drinking.
Umenoyado is best served at room temperature or warmed up. Enjoy the lingering aftertaste and the changes in flavor that become richer as you warm it. ~.
So, after the first cup of Tasake (Sakura), the second cup of Umenoyado was heated up.
It's still cold at night, so heated sake is good.
It goes well with just about anything.
Potato salad, yakitori sauce, sashimi konjak, stir-fried toki and maitake mushrooms.
We didn't have any seafood today, so we'll be pairing it tomorrow or later.
