I have the impression that Mutsu Hachisen is being carried in more and more stores in Hokkaido, to my delight.
It is quite possible that there is an Aomori bias in this sake, but it has a nice fruity apple flavor and a crisp, clean taste.
It also has a crisp dryness, making it a versatile sake that can be paired with meals.
Some have commented that this sake has a good handling of ale, and it is indeed a sake with just the right amount of sweetness.
