After visiting Kintohira, we had Sanuki udon noodles and went to Kinryo Sake Brewery, which we had our eye on. The collection of sake cups and the history of the brewery in the museum are well worth seeing! While soaking up the afterglow of the visit, we enjoyed a tasting at the store attached to the brewery...and that's about all we have to say so far. The last one was Jun Dai! Floral and gorgeous aroma. The mouthfeel is more refreshing. The pleasant sweetness and umami of Yamada-Nishiki was gently felt, followed by the spicy acidity and astringency that tightened up the taste. It is a deep taste that is elegantly wrapped up by the lush astringency that comes at the end of the bottle! There was also a selection of limited edition sake from the brewery, as well as a selection of souvenirs! We had so much fun that we forgot how tired we were 🍶.
