I saw this at a local supermarket and bought it. This is my second bottle of sake from Ishikawa. I'm looking forward to it being Junmai Yamahai!
The color is Yamabuki-iro. The aroma is mildly acidic.
When you put it in your mouth, you can taste the sourness and the umami that is typical of a sake brewery, and it has a strong core taste. It is very drinkable. At the same time, it has a good sharpness. It is a typical sake.
If you drink it chilled, it is a little dry and smooth, and would go well with sashimi. When it's warmed up, it becomes a powerful, thick sake that's good with rich yakitori. It's totally my favorite type of sake!
