Chokki
Chichibu Kojiro Junmai
15%, 60%.
My cell phone notes have been lost, so my impressions are somewhat vague.
The brewery was a plain, old-fashioned place. There were not many kinds of sake on the shelves, but I bought a special honjozo and a bottle of this Junmai.
I took them back to Tokyo and opened the bottle. The label was blue, giving the impression of a powerful sake.
The aroma of the special honjozo was subtle, but I was not so sure about this one.
The first sip.
There is nothing unpleasant in the aroma. It is simply dry. This may be better than the special bottle.
I got the impression that it was not bad when lukewarm.
A bottle of this sake can be easily drunk as an in-between-dinner drink.
Many of Chichibu's traditional sake drinkers may prefer this to Chichibu Nishiki.
