At the end of March, I looked in the sake section of Takashimaya, which I had been curious about for some time, and found a sake brewer named Sakura Masamune. It is brewed with rice from a special A district. I was told that it was brewed with rice from a special A district. Actually, this was my first time tasting daiginjo (a mixture of the two from my childhood). (I had never tried anything other than junmai sake because of my childhood image of bad tasting mixed sake.) Junmai sake brewed with the same ingredients costs about 13,000 yen, but this one costs 3,000 yen.
Ugh, yummy! What is this...Daiginjo is so delicious.
This is the sake that made me want to try daiginjos later on.
The aroma is subdued but gorgeous and fruity. When you put it in your mouth, the sweetness is followed by a soft acidity, and once you think it has disappeared, the umami flavor rises to the surface.
The delicious sake, thank you very much!
