This is my first Junmai type. I was very grateful to be able to sample it since they only sell 1.8 Junmai!
The aroma is smooth, yet it smells like freshly cooked rice.
The mouthfeel is silky and smooth, but soon after, a pungent taste gradually spreads to the tongue!
It is less assertive in its umami than the Junmai Akagisan, and is more specialized in its dryness. However, as described, it has no habits and the taste has no waves, so it may be the best to drink it quickly while enjoying the punch of dryness during a meal..!
