This sake was stored in Kurobe Dam in September 2022 and taken out of the dam in June of this year. I bought a bottle of Gen no Taki and a bottle of Sanjoraku, and enjoyed the Gen no Taki with friends early, but I opened a bottle of Sanjoraku at home.
It was delicious. I could tell that it had not only become mellow, but had also quietly matured like a whiskey. Some stores seem to have sold out of it after the Bon Festival, but I will go looking for more to replenish my stock 😄.
