Slightly pineapple-like nose.
The wine has a clear but not strong honey-like sweetness, a fruity pineapple-like aroma, a firm rice flavor, and a soft acidity that finishes with a slight bitterness. It has a slightly thickened throat.
Sake with a relatively firm impression.
Went well with grilled kipper and yakitori (with sauce).
It was a little different from the Shoyuki my wife remembers...maybe a different type of Junmai Daiginjo sake rice?
