I bought it at Roadside Station Fermentation Village Kouzaki!
This is a Junmai Yamahai ver. of a popular Chiba sake brand. The other day I had a bottle of the same brewery's Junmai Yamahai Tenke from Nabeden, and I'm looking forward to the difference!
The color is clear for a 30by Yamahai.
The scent is very typical of sake, with a gentle aroma.
When you put it in your mouth, there is a sweetness of fruit like a ginjo aroma for a moment, but soon the sourness and bitterness that is typical of Yamahai spreads with the umami. A pleasant spiciness soon sets in on the tongue. It is full-bodied and dry.
Compared to the Junmai Yamahai Tenke from the same brewery, it has the aroma of polished rice and sweetness, which gives it a more refined impression. It is also very Yamahai-like, so it is very drinkable.
It was delicious!
