The taste is full and crisp. A local Shizuoka Prefecture sake. Garyubai" was planted by Ieyasu at Kiyomi-ji Temple in Shizuoka. As a child, Ieyasu was a hostage of the Imagawa family and lived in hiding at Kiyomi-ji Temple. After that, he became the ruler of the country like a dragon rising to the sky! It is said that it was named "Garyubai" in the hope that it would be known as the best sake in the world.
