Ordered 🍶300ml for dinner on the trip. Inagawa Sake Brewing Exhibition in Fukushima Prefecture, I heard they have a brewery by Lake Inawashiro. It was my first time drinking it 🍶. The rice is 100% Gohyakumangoku. Rice polishing ratio is 40 Alcohol level is 16 degrees Celsius. Fire-aged undiluted sake The sake is light and colorful. It will be produced in June 2024. The aroma when the bottle is opened is slightly sweet, with a hint of melon or banana in the distance. In the mouth, the full sweetness and umami of the rice spreads quickly on the tongue, but it is light. After that, the bitterness spreads, and it goes down the throat with a sharp taste. It is drier than the sake I usually drink. It is heavier than other sake, but as it is served with a meal, the bitterness becomes less noticeable and the sake becomes more enjoyable. It is more enjoyable when paired with a meal, not as a sake to be faced with.
