Ibaraki Sake Morishima Junmai Daiginjo Comet Morishima is a sake produced by Morishima Shuzo in Hitachi City, Ibaraki Prefecture. It is made from Hokkaido rice, Comet. Morishima is not easily available in Ibaraki. On the Sakelabo channel, Kai-san said, "I don't know where to find it," and it was a mystery even to the locals. I finally bought this sake after looking for it in various places. Incidentally, Morishima Sake Brewery is featured in the danchu Sake Special 2024. As mentioned in dan Chu, Comet is a sake that is only available in February, so I bought it as soon as it went on sale. The aroma is like ramune, but not so aromatic. There is almost no sweetness, and the refreshing flavor and acidity make it light and easy to drink. The sake is a daiginjo, but its sake level is -2, which means it goes perfectly with food as a food sake. It is like Romain or Hakurakusei, which I have had in the past. Morishima is a sake that is light and easy to drink without bitterness, with a sweetness that is kept to a minimum and a delicious taste of rice. This sake is a must-have. Degree of liking 9/10
