Comparison of Isobojimachi's Omachi
Almost the same specs when it comes to acidity except for rice polishing ratio
The aroma is the same blue melon type, but there is a distinct difference.
Floral and alcoholic aroma can also be detected.
The main taste is more pure and umami compared to Omachi 53.
Then the sweetness of rice and alcohol comes out, and it finishes with the bitterness of alcohol.
The taste is clean but also deep and rich, as is typical of Isoboast's daiginjos.
Delicious!
Compared to Isoboast's Yamada-Nishiki, Omachi's sweetness and umami of rice comes out more in the front, and it is more satisfying to drink, which I personally highly appreciate.
