Every year in our family, we eat osechi or hors d'oeuvres flown in on New Year's Eve. A bottle of Kinryo, which we received as a tax return gift from my wife's hometown. I put it in a darkened sake cellar for today. Yes, it's still good for the New Year. I wish you all a happy new year.
