Today we are drinking sake from Gifu Prefecture.
The main brand name of Matsuiya Sake Brewery in Tomika-cho is Mutsuitori Junmai Sake, Hanburi Toseki. It is called "Hanyurikoseki" in Japanese.
Purchased at the brewery. The label was designed by the brewer's son.
The aroma is an apple-like ginjo aroma with a strong alcoholic flavor.
The palate is easy to drink, with a refreshing, weak acidity, followed by the umami and sweetness of the rice, and ending with a weak bitterness.
