It is a slightly dry sake with a bitter and sour taste, and it is not so good when served alone.
Since it is said to be made exclusively for mackerel, I ordered some seared and vinegared mackerel and had it with it.
The taste harmonized with the sweetness of the mackerel, and the balance was improved, and the fat of the mackerel was washed away smoothly 😋.
