The nose is gentle but slightly fruity with a hint of grapefruit 🍇.
On the palate, the first half of the wine has an astringent taste like grape skins, but at the same time, the beautiful, elegant, light acidity of THE Shinmasa comes in quickly and smoothly 😋.
The subtle sweetness is full, and the depth and gentle umami is wonderful 🤤.
And this sequence of flow that passes down the throat nonstressfully with a slight bitterness is indeed the perfection of Shinsei 😊.
The direct pass has a much broader flavor and is much more drinkable, making it one of my favorite Shinsei bottles. ❗️
