I was looking forward to the annual brewery open house at Yamanashi Meizo.
You can taste all kinds of sake, sample snacks, and eat sweets made with sake.
When will those fun days return?
I quickly bought some sake and unrefined sake, and then went back to Kinseiken to buy seasonal Japanese sweets.
This year's unrefined sake opened gently.
The first time I bought unrefined sake a few years ago, it was so vigorous that it was almost half overflowing 😆.
It was so mildly tangy and refreshingly mellow that I almost finished the whole bottle before I realized it.
