I bought it in early spring, and following the advice "I wonder if it's open yet", I realized I let it sit too long. Upon opening the bottle, there was a faintly sweet aroma. When you put it in your mouth, it has a slight effervescence. You can feel the umami of the rice with a gusto. The bitterness that follows the sweetness balances it out and makes it delicious! It is cold today, so we had sesame soy milk hot pot. The slightly sweet flavor is a perfect match for the sake. I can't help but drink it smoothly. Adding shichimi (seven spice) and drinking it after the spiciness is very refreshing, which is also good. It is a wonderful sake!
