When I saw this sake in the fridge at the store, I was definitely going to drink it. But in my experience, Kudokibe sake tastes better if you wait a little time after opening it. So I came to the store on the 6th day after it was opened. Thank goodness it was still there. There was still some left. I was looking forward to it, so I ordered my first drink.
The aroma is sweet melon and just a hint of fresh fruity acidity. Aaahhh! Just the aroma alone is enough to get me over the edge.
The sweet melon flavor in the mouth is also very sweet. The neat bitterness sitting discreetly in the back is also cute! And the sweet-alcoholic overtone is bright and erotic. The aftertaste disappears before you know it, and there is no unpleasant taste at all.
If I were to compare it to Ghibli, it would be...impossible. Ghibli does not have such an erotic and cute character.
