Home drinking. Today is a day off. We had Yamamoto's Uki Uki, our first spring sake in a year. We drank a glass without mixing the ori. We served it with yakitori (grilled chicken), side dishes, and sashimi. The slight fruity aroma is followed by sweetness and spiciness. Finally, the bitter taste is cut off with the bitter taste. It is a refreshing drink even with garlic-flavored yakitori. It is a springtime sake. Next, when mixed with ori, the sweetness takes precedence over the spiciness and the bitterness softens, making it a good match for sashimi. It is a delicious sake that changes depending on how you drink it.
