Asamai Sake Brewery is located in Asamai-machi, Hiraga-gun, Akita Prefecture.
It is one of my favorite breweries. I also visited the brewery.
I think the sake here is just gentle, the mouthfeel, the aroma, the spread of the flavor. Everything is gentle, and it makes you want to know what kind of person the brewer is.
Moriya-san, who brewed this sake, passed away in 2019. I stayed in Jumonji, Yokote City, where the brewery is located, just before he passed away, and I remember being impressed by how Moritani-san's name was roaring through the community.
He is still brewing very gentle and relaxing sake. I really like him.
