My first YAMATO SHIZUKU I also like Kariho, and I've been looking for Yamato Shizuku for a long time, but surprisingly, I found it in a liquor store I knew, and I bought it without hesitation. The liquor store told me that the brewery uses "Shellfish Fossil Bed Water", which is written on the label, in the brewing water, so it is rich in minerals and goes well with the same fish and shellfish! And... So, we had it with yellowtail, flatfish sashimi, salmon roe, and other oden, and it went very well! It's got a nice acidity and a ginjo aroma that fills your mouth, and rather than being fruity, you get a good sense of the flavor of the rice, and it goes great with food! I've only paired it with white meat, but I think it would be great with tuna, grilled fish, or boiled fish. It's delicious! I don't have enough left for one more cup!
