A disagreement? This is a collaboration project between the two breweries, where laughter flows. The collaboration has been underway for several years with an ancient variety called Aikoku, and this release seems to be a full-blown release. This will stop the flow of the disagreement theory lol?
Putting that aside, when two of Tochigi Prefecture's best sake breweries, both of which have many fans, collaborate, there is no way I won't buy it. Of course, I bought the Sengoku version.
It tastes less sweet, wild, and rather dry. It also has a characteristic extended umami flavor derived from the sake yeast.
If you like ordinary Hououmida, you may be confused by the difference in taste, but this is a sake made from an ancient variety, and it is very drinkable.
Personally, I like the taste and look forward to drinking Senkyu's version.
I hope you will continue to collaborate with us more and more! And I hope you will dispel the theory of irreconcilable differences.
