Eikohuji Crimson Glory
It was so good at Uoso that I had to have another one at Posha.
I don't really like the fact that they use Dom Perignon Rosé on the label.
It was a little more mild than the last one I had, with a sake level of -64, an acidity of 2.5, red yeast, and a strawberry-like sweetness.
It tasted totally good on the rocks or with lemon and soda. Delicious.
The name of the sake comes from the character for "glory" that was added to the original sake name "Fuji" at the time of its establishment to express the wish for prosperity. It is also said that the symmetrical character "Eiko Fuji" represents the brewery's philosophy of "sake brewing with no two sides of the same coin.
