2023-4 The delicious taste of Junmai heated sake
It was a gift from a neighbor of the brewery last year, and it seemed to be easy to open in a small bottle.
The first day, we started with it cold. It is a light and dry sake of Kyoto, similar to the ancient capital that we have had before, and it finishes like water with a slight spiciness. It was perfect as a food sake, and was delicious with smoky sausages.
When heated, it has a slightly more umami flavor and is not sweet, making it a good match for meals! I was hooked on the charm of junmai heated sake without the ginjo aroma.
