It's almost the start of the New Year and the liquor stores are getting busier and busier. So I went to my favorite liquor store first thing in the morning. And this is the sake I wanted.
The usual woman is Santa Claus.
I didn't see anything on the back of the bottle, so I didn't write anything about it.
But at the liquor store, she was called Santa Claus (lol). It is a nice label, isn't it?
I can guess what it tastes like, but what do you think?
It tastes the same as usual.
The sweetness is followed by spiciness and bitterness, and the taste is crisp and clean. What makes it different from the usual is that it is a daiginjo and 100% Yamada-Nishiki is used.
The polishing of the rice suppresses the unpleasant tastes, and it seems as if anything that might get in the way has been removed. The balance of the Yamada-Nishiki is very good.
As is usual with this sake, the arosoke does a very good job.
It was a little expensive, but it is a satisfying bottle.
