Upon investigation, one finds that the western part of Ome City, where Sawanoi's brewery is located, is an area overflowing with nature. The brewery is located along Mitake Valley, which is known for its famous water, and the water, which is surprisingly clear and contains very little iron, comes from a side well that was dug during the Edo period (1603-1868).
When poured into a glass, there is a youthful aroma with a hint of fruitiness. The first impression upon drinking is a refreshing lemon-like acidity. The overall taste is clean and refreshing, with a nice bitter aftertaste that also springs up slightly. It is also delicious.
