Happy New Year!
On New Year's Day, I bought a bottle of Jyushiyo, Chogoku for this day!
I bought it at the regular price.
It has a refreshing aroma like green apples.
As soon as you put it in your mouth, the sweetness spreads!
The acidity also has a strong presence, and it tastes like a Jyushidai.
Jyushidai is a sake that should be drunk on its own rather than as a food sake.
It is a strong sake by itself, or rather, it is like an idol.
I don't think it is a sake suitable for pairing.
But sweet and spicy sukiyaki and black beans were snacks that did not interfere.
It made for a special evening drink!
Pairing: Sukiyaki, fish cake, black soybeans, red and white namasu
