This has been a long-selling product since it was first introduced in 1969 as a freshly pressed, unpasteurized sake.
The sake is bottled straight from the tank without heat, dilution with water, or filtration.
It is Shiraoi's standard sake with the fresh sweetness of new sake and the thick, rich taste of unfiltered sake.
I see what you mean when I try it, it does indeed have the unique flavor and taste of nama-zake in its refreshing sweetness.
Personally, it did not particularly sting me, but it was a delicious sake.
