Explanation from a senior
This long-selling product has been on the market since 1969, when it was the first freshly pressed, unpasteurized sake in Japan.
The sake is bottled straight from the tank without heat, dilution with water, or filtration.
It is Shiraoi's standard sake with the fresh sweetness of new sake and the thick, rich taste of unfiltered sake.
I see what you mean when I try it, it does indeed have the unique flavor and taste of nama-zake in its refreshing sweetness.
Personally, it did not particularly sting me, but it was a delicious sake.
