Ryoseki Shuzo 150th Anniversary Sake
15% polished rice from Akita Prefecture's newest sake rice, Momota and Ippozumi
As the label says, it is the culmination of Ryoseki's traditions and new approaches cultivated at Hanayuup and Suitama.
Not as gorgeous as Hanayuup, but it has a beautiful, fruity aroma like apples.
The taste is a little mild at first, and there seems to be a bit of a blank space.
After a while in the mouth, a beautiful, mellow sweet umami flavor develops.
It reminds me of the beautiful and cute girls who used Ippozumi and Momota for the first time a few years ago.
Compared to the previous Hanayuup, this sake has the mellow sweetness of the previous Hanayuup, but has been refined with high rice polishing to give it an elegant taste that is suitable for a high quality sake.
A great sake that will definitely satisfy Hana Yuu fans!
