We had a bottle of Amami Junmai Ginjo Nama Genjyo.
It has been a long time since I have had a bottle of Amami.
The nose has a fruity aroma like a young melon with a hint of sourness.
In the mouth, as with the standing aroma, a fresh sweetness and moderate acidity spread across the palate with a hint of young melon, and while there is a hint of bubbles, it finishes smoothly and beautifully.
It is delicious!
It has a great balance of sweetness, acidity, and astringency, and it's all in a refreshing style 👍.
This is definitely the perfect sake for a mealtime drink, and with a side dish, it will go down a treat with ease 😊.
