Tonight's sake is Haneda Summer Junmai Sake from Kyoto 🍶.
The other day at the sake corner, a beautiful blue bottle labeled "Kitayama, Kyoto's local sake" caught my eye and I bought it!
It is a refreshingly dry sake, and as the temperature rose a little, I could taste the full flavor of the rice.
It has a nice sharpness and is suitable for a mid-meal drink!
The rice used is "Kyo no Kiraki", a rice suitable for sake brewing produced in Kyoto.
The brewery is located in the town of Shuyama, Keihoku, Ukyo-ku, which is said to be rich in nature.
I remember that when I was staying at a boarding house in Kyoto, I often saw buses bound for the Shuyama bus terminal...

The home run king of sweets! 😆 😆
When I was a kid, I used to buy it as a souvenir when my family would visit my grandmother's house in Fukushima during summer vacation!
