[4.5 This is a gift from a friend. It is said to be made by a method called "flat milling" which can produce the same quality as highly milled rice even if the milling ratio is low. It tastes fresh. The aroma is like squeezed green apple. I had heard that the kanji was a classical dry type, but it is very fresh and fruity. The flavor is clear but also has a firm umami, probably due to the flattened rice polishing. I envy them, as it seems to be only available in Niigata Prefecture.
